Check out this Christianity Today article exploring why we have evergreen trees, ornaments, and gift-giving as part of our Christmas celebration. While it is an interesting read, it also makes us aware that Christians have long re-imagined secular and pagan rituals such that they become forms of worship. Are there other holidays, religious practices, or aspects of culture that we are quick to critique, but could perhaps be reimagined as a form of worship to Jesus Christ who redeems all things?
